NOSE BLEEDING and its management

Today let's take up another component of life ,that is AIR.One is generally deprived of airway due to  defect in main organs,HEART,LUNGS AND NOSE.Obstruction or Disease that causes irritation to these organs manifests as LIFE THREATENING COMPLICATIONS.so please recognize them on first hand first-time basis and be careful....DON'T NEGLECT the only human life gifted by GOD.

Let's take NOSE and look at the most common manifestation i.e., BLEEDING FROM NOSE which is called EPISTAXIS.so first-aid that should be done before getting it too complicated is as follows:-

1. Pinch the nose with thumb and index finger  for 10 min and u can carry it on until bleeding stops
2. do not bend bend your head backwards ,u should bend forwards so as to prevent pooling of blood    in throat ,which furthers complicates the situation .

3.apply ice pack on the nose which stops bleeding by constricting(pressing) the arteries(blood oozes 

   out from these things which are 5 in number in the nose)

4.  have a cotton piece/any clean piece of cloth  placed inside the nose so as  to prevent the loss of  
    more blood from nose.

5.In medical shop u will get  a topical nasal decongestant OXYMETAZOLINE,spray it into your nose

  for the same reason that it constricts the arteries and stops bleeding(take pain to do this thing 

  definitely)

THIS IS THE FIRST-AID TO BE FOLLOWED WHILE BLOOD OOZES OUT OF YOUR NOSE.YOU CAN JUST ADVICE ANYONE YOU COME ACROSS WITH SAME PROBLEM ,SAY :

•  ROAD ACCIDENTS.

•  PREVIOUSLY SUFFERING FROM B.P./HYPERTENSION

•  PREVIOUSLY IF YOU HAD ANY BLEEDING ISSUES

• NOSE PRICKING WITH SOME FOREIGN OBJECTS and

• RUBBING YOUR NOSE RIGOROUSLY TOO CAUSES NOSE BLEEDING OR

• ANY MEDICATIONS YOU ARE USING FOR A LONG TIME LIKE 'WARFARIN' OR   'HEPARIN'

• IF WOMEN THEN ANY PREVIOUS MENSTRUAL PROBLEMS.

                            ' SO IDENTIFY YOUR CAUSE AND REACT ACCORDINGLY'

Most common cause, at some times is just a vague one but next main thing is HYPERTENSION/B.P. in which  you feel your head banging / dizziness, then definitely  u should go to E.N.T specialist and also compulsory reference with M.D.(physician) is required to rule out every cause to this disorder of nose bleeding.I am now taking pain again to say that you should refer to specialist I mentioned above to rule out the cause because many a times people neglect thinking it its just once in a while.
